Abstract is Leadership is the main point in an organization that influences organizational habits, the success of work programs, member performance, member resilience which is largely determined by the leader. A leader has a leadership style that affects his performance and that of his members. Education in tertiary institutions has a different character from primary and secondary education. One of the differences is in the increasing role of students in determining the success of their education. Students as learning subjects in tertiary institutions must be the main concern of all education providers in order to make human beings who have high competence. This is where the mandate of the head of the Study Program is to provide opportunities for students by providing as many places as possible to forge themselves other than in the lecture hall. Extracurricular activities should also receive a lot of attention from the head of the study program so that they can become a good learning place for students apart from the classroom. This study aims to determine: Character values through the activities of the New Health Stikes student organization, Obtain information about the most dominant character values after participating in student organization activities. The population in this study were students who were core administrators of the Doloksanggul New Health Stikes Student Organization, a total of 25 students. The results showed that character building values were at intervals of 55.00 ≤ X < 70.00. Thus the implementation of character education through student organization activities is included in the good category. the proportion of character values follows, religious at 68.80%, leadership spirit of 81.88%, sense of responsibility 89.76%, honesty 88.36%, tolerance 71.65%, growing curiosity 75.24%, hard work 80.04%, discipline 90.0% , self-confidence 84.87%, creative and innovative 68.78%, independent attitude 83.41%, nationalism 77.07%, justice 87.55%, sincerity 89.88%, simplicity 81.70% and internationalism attitude 78.85%. Character building at the New Health Center is divided into four activities, namely success skills, religion, leadership, and creativity. The calculation results are as follows, leadership, with an average of 84.69%. Then followed by success skills of 83.60%, religion 83.14% and finally creativity of 75.57%. The most dominant outcome in the character building process is leadership.
